- I've removed Drigert from the game since its taking too long.
As he was the cadavers, I guess the game is forfeit?
- Seems only fair - can only give a dude so long...

- Do we have the ability to cancel games (as players) and, if so, how?
- The only option is the one you've selected, to remove a player that's taking too long. Normally the game would cancel if all the players of one side disappeared, but due to the nature of this mission where everyone is technically against each other, the game will continue. I can cancel is if need though, just let me know. Maybe you want to fight to the death. :D
- Btw, Cpt Fishmonger, I notice you have a unit called Keo Kebab. Any particular reason, do you have a connection with Cyprus?
- Thanks Steve, on this map the monitors are all allies so we are able to see each other - please cancel.
Alas I can't take credit for Keo Kebab, I assume the names are already pre-set?
- Ha, you're right, I completely forgot. It was several years ago! Still not as strange as some of Julian's original names!
- As a kid, Android Barker always struck me as cool
- RABID, do you have an opinion on whether to cancel? We COULD fight it out on a "psychic" basis (ability to see each other's positions on the scanner/Details screen. On the one hand, this would be a bit unfair to the Cap'n, given that he has the least remaining "skin" in the game; on the other, regardless of who was the last team standing I guess we'd ALL be due some league points at Drigert's expense given that we're all on the oppositeside to him. So I'm torn!

- Another option is unit-by-unit having a duel. One unit stands at the far left of that massive corridor at the top, and one at the far right.
Each turn a player gets to take an aimed (or two if they have the AP) shot at the opponent, and vice versa.
When one unit is dead, another player takes their place. Rinse and repeat until there is one unit left
- The condition here being the unit replacing a dead unit must be given a turn of grace (until the other returns fire) taking into account the AP they would use getting into position
- OK, I'll start moving my units top-right...

- Hang on?. Even though Drigert was removed from the game, his units still come back to life, so won?t the game just keep getting stuck?

- Is there an issue with a removed player's zombies coming back to life? There's probably never been this situation before, but I can fix it. I assume the best solution is for resurrected units to be put under the control of the remaining zombie player.
- ..Ah, I've just noticed there is no remaining zombie player! I'll just have to stop it resurrecting the zombies.
- We should probably just abandon this game :)

- It should be sorted now. Zombies have been removed, and will never return.
If you have an issue like this in the future, let me know and I can take over a player who seems to have disappeared.
- Cheers Steve.
Chris/Rabid given I have two units, and you both three, I will position one of my units at either end of the corridor.
Additionally, since you have the numerical advantage, you two can face-off first, and I'll take the place of the killed unit
- Oh dear, it seems we're back to "waiting for Drigert to take turn" despite Steve's efforts on our behalf. Perhaps we really should abandon it after all...

- I'll take over as the zombie player. Let me know what you want me to do, either stand and do nothing or try and kill the first person I see?
- Thanks Steve! :-) My ha'penny's-worth is that you should definitely still play to win; the question is whether you have an unfair advantage right now by being able to see any Human units. If so, perhaps you could allow us a few turns' grace in order to re-hide? What do other people think?

- I'm happy with whatever to be honest!
Do you have additional privilege as the owner, Steve?
- Thanks Steve! I?m happy with whatever. My new tactic is hoping the zombies die of old age, this game has been going on for so long :)

- No problem, I'll wait a few turns and then unleash death on you all!!
> Do you have additional privilege as the owner, Steve?
Not sure what you mean. I obviously have full access to the game, but I've never used that to gain an advantage (as my losing record will testify!).
- I think I've noticed a big: if a zombie dies because of fire, they are still burning when they get reanimated. I suppose that's realistic though? :D
- *bug
- Well I can't wait to watch the playback to see where you disappeared to!
- Damn, I completely missed the top right of the map! It's quite hard as the zombies to remember where you've checked, but I should have looked. And @Rabid, did your men accidentally kill themselves?
- @SteveSmith, I took an almighty risk effectively hiding right under the nose of one of your units (in his starting position, anyway)! Luckily (deliberately, @Cpt Fishmonger?), he was then "distracted" by one of the Cap'n's units and the action moved SW-wards, so all I had to was sit tight and hope. @RABID, I interpreted the move Steve alludes to as a deliberate act of self-sacrifice, taking as many cadavers with you as possible to give the remaining research monitors the best possible chance; is that right? Many thanks if so!

- I also think Steve deserves thanks for stepping in at a disadvantageous point so that we could get this game properly finished!

- Thanks all, that was a messy game.
I deliberately set my first unit on fire (when drigert was still active) since he was screwed and wanted to act as a shield for Rabid.
My final unit was on fire, I presume Steve lobbed an incendiary grenade at me. I gambled that by setting one of his cadavers on fire before I died, it might have a negative consequence for him - looks like it did! (Mental note)

Not at all, I really enjoyed it, I'd forgotten about this mission. In fact I've just set up another one for anyone to join.
- Aye, go on then... ;'l

- Let's hope I manage to get eaten my cadavers rather than immolation
- By*
- A door charge set off an oil barrel and wiped all my men out, I think I had some sort of half baked plan to see if I could blow up the zombie bodies to stop them regenerating, but I forgot to stand back when I lit the blue touch paper!
